Out the front of the Allans Billy Hyde on Bourke St Melbourne, where the Allans group donated a car valued at $25,000 and $10,000 worth of musical instruments to launch the Bandwagon campaign for the charity Support Act. Over $120,000 was raised.

Support Act is Australia’s only charity delivering crisis relief services to artists, crew and music workers as a result of ill health, injury, a mental health problem, or some other crisis that impacts on their ability to work in music.

The Seekers are an Australian folk-influenced pop quartet, originally formed in Melbourne in 1962. They were the first Australian pop music group to achieve major chart and sales success in the United Kingdom and the United States. Their best-known configuration is with: Judith Durham on vocals, piano, and tambourine; Athol Guy on double bass and vocals; Keith Potger on twelve-string guitar, banjo, and vocals; and Bruce Woodley on guitar, mandolin, banjo, and vocals. In 1967, they were named as joint “Australians of the Year” the only group thus honoured. In 1995 they were inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame. The Seekers have sold over 50 million records worldwide.

Molly Meldrum is an Australian music critic, journalist, record producer and musical entrepreneur. He was the talent co-ordinator, on-air interviewer, and music news presenter on the former popular music program Countdown (1974–87) and is widely recognised for his trademark Stetson hat, which he has regularly worn in public since the 1980s. Meldrum has earned a reputation as a champion of Australian popular music both in Australia and internationally; his contributions have been acknowledged with an Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Award for Special Achievement.

Ian Haug is an Australian musician and the lead guitarist, songwriter, and backing vocalist in the rock band Powderfinger from its formation in 1989 until its breakup in 2010, although they recently reformed for a COVID live stream where they raised over $400,000 for Beyond Blue.

Powderfinger was formed in 1989 by vocalist and guitarist Ian Haug, bass guitarist John Collins and drummer Steven Bishop. The band later sought an extra guitarist, Bernard Fanning. Fanning took over the role of lead vocals from Haug. Powderfinger’s final line-up change came with the addition of guitarist Darren Middleton.

In 2013, Haug joined Australian band The Church. Steven John Kilbey (born 13 September 1954) is an English-Australian singer-songwriter and bass guitarist for the rock band The Church formed in Sydney in 1980. The band retains a large international cult following and were inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in Sydney in 2010. The Church continue to tour and record, releasing their 25th studio album.

Eric McCusker is the guitarist of Mondo Rock an Australian rock band formed in 1976 by singer-songwriter, Ross Wilson (ex-Daddy Cool). McCusker wrote a lot of their hits, such as “Come Said the Boy”, “State of the Heart”, “Chemistry”, “No Time”, “Summer of ’81” and “The Queen and Me” He also wrote “No-One Comes Close” for John Farnham, included on the 24 times platinum “Whispering Jack”.
